Countdown: 34 Days

You may (or may not) remember that I have been preparing to audition for the Prenzie Players this fall. They are, for the most part, Shakespearean actors. I have never acted Shakespeare before, and I haven't acted at all since high-school 14 years ago.

I just received an e-mail from them with the following information:

Prenzie Players Announce Auditions for William Shakespeare's The Winter's Tale

directed by J.C. Luxton

Leontes, King of Sicily, overcome by a sudden, maddening, unreasoning jealousy, sets out to destroy his marriage, family, and kingdom—all in the name of justice. One of the late great romances, an exploration of the worth and price of redemption, rich in love, music, and comedy with an unforgettable conclusion, The Winter's Tale is William Shakespeare at his most affecting and most profound.

Auditions for all roles will be held at the Village Theatre in the Village of East Davenport, 2113 E. 11th Street Davenport, Iowa

Saturday, September 19: 1pm—5pm
Sunday, September 20: 6:30pm—10pm

Callbacks: Monday, September 21: 6pm—10pm

You need only show up ready to read from the script. All are welcome!

Performances at the Village Theatre in Davenport on November 13, 14, 15, 20, 21, & 22

...

My stomach just went all twisty inside.

...

Weigh-In:
I am down to 286.5 pounds. Another 4.5 pounds KTFOd. My best week yet! I probably dropped all of that weight because of my extensive jogging...

Okay, I probably lost the weight because I vomited up a lot of my stomach, and then ate less for the next few days. But, let's stay positive.

Actually, I weighed in on Saturday morning. But, for uniformity's sake, I wanted to post on the Sunday entry.

Food:
Breakfast:
Lots of Bacon
Lots of green and orange Melon
Eggs with Ham and Peppers. After I had eaten the eggs that I had grabbed on my first trip up to the buffet, my wife mentioned that the eggs were fluffy, and that she hoped that they didn't have any wheat in them (yes, that absolutely happens). Fortunately, I didn't get sick. This has been a week of stressful eating though.
A mix of Orange and Apple Juice, and a sip of Cranberry Juice

Lunch:
Leftover Cole Slawy Salad

Dinner:
Seasoned Meat with Salsa and Ranch with Chips

Exercise:
I tweaked my ankle doing something this weekend and I have been limping around all day. I am currently icing my it. I did have a chance to lift weights today, so that counts for something.
