Whew, we just got back from a minor league baseball game. Unfortunately, I couldn't hold out until the end as I am completely wiped out from being sick (I made it through the sixth). I am going to rest up this weekend and go to the doctor if I don't start feeling better by Monday.
I had never gone to a minor league baseball game before (that I remember). It really struck me how much more fan friendly they are than major league games. They obviously have to be to get people to the park, but I was still impressed.
My wife enjoyed the mascot Bird-Zerk (and his friends, Zerk-Jr. and Ball-Zerk) more than anything else at the park, even more than the hot dog, I think (which is saying something). They were pretty funny, I have to give them that. Those bouncy suits always entertain me.
I don't really care for baseball, but it was an enjoyable night out. Thanks River Bandits!
Food:
Snack:
Orange
Breakfast:
Leftover Quiche. Unfortunately, there was a mix-up and I accidentally ate one of my wife's pieces that had cheese on it. It is frustrating to accidentally eat something that I am trying to cut out, but, it happens. Also, to keep it in perspective, at least it wasn't gluten.
Lunch:
The remainder of the Tuna Noodle Casserole
Dinner:
Orange
Chips with Seasoned Meat, Salsa, and Nonfat Plain Yogurt. I think that I ate a little too much. I know that I should stop, but I just have some drive to keep eating. I am getting better at it at least (I think).
Exercise:
I walked about two miles this morning at a decent to good pace. Then I mowed the front lawn with our electric mower when I got home from work.
