Well, my wife and I will be going to the Bristol Renaissance Faire in a month or so. We have never been to one (though we did go to GenCon one year (and I have gone a few times, though it has been awhile)). It is supposed to be the biggest one in the world, and I am looking forward to the jousting. That will be kind of crazy to see horses charging. It should give me new respect for pikemen standing up to charging cavalry.
They say that you can't bring any food into the faire (because they want you to buy their food), which worried me, but my friend called and asked about people with allergies (without me even asking him to, whatta good guy). They said that people will be able to leave to eat and then come back, and also keep snacks in their pockets. I hope that I don't have to prove Celiac, as I am not sure how I would do that.
Food:
Breakfast:
Chicken breast with BWW sauce
Snack:
Vanilla yogurt with almonds
Lunch:
Pad Thai with soup and salad
Dinner:
My wife made a fancy meal tonight and we had steak, baked potatoes (I had mine with sour cream and bacon bits), green beans, and a little onion soup. I wasn't ravenous today, and completely forgot to look around for info on that.
Exercise:
I walked at a decent pace for about 2 - 2.5 miles.
