I intend to break the 250 pound barrier. Okay, it isn't really a barrier (that I know of), but I was thinking about it today, and it seems possible. I lost around four pounds per week the first few weeks, and now I am losing about three-and-a-half per week. I figure that if I can lose an average of three pounds per week, I will be at 250 pounds for Thanksgiving (and then get back down to 250 again by Christmas after Thanksgiving feasting (kidding, of course)). I realize that I will probably hit a plateau or two that will throw me off target, but I think that it is possible.
Unfortunately, I ate too much for dinner today. It wasn't even because I was hungry from my relatively small lunch and no snack. It was solely because I am a dumb-ass who ate more than I should have.
I was thinking about the sour cream that I generally use on my Mexican food. I think that after this container runs out (it is almost full right now), I am going to try plain yogurt. I remember my mom using that when I was younger. It seems like it would be way better (and less bad) for me, but still give me the cool creamy sensation that I am looking for. Or, maybe it will totally suck.
Food:
Breakfast:
I tried that Crock Pot Pizza with Pineapple. Not recommended. It was not good at all. I guess that there is a difference between noodles and pizza dough.
Lunch:
Pad Thai with Tofu, I only ate about 1/2 to 3/4 and felt full.
Soup
Salad
Dinner:
Tacos with Re-fried Beans, Seasoned Hamburger, Salsa, Sour Cream, and Cucumbers. The cucumber was from our CSA and very good. There were only three tacos left, so I finished my meal with chips (and, as I said above, ate too much).
Exercise:
I walked about three miles this evening, mostly at a decent to good pace with a little jogging and a little slow walking when I was tir...
"Wait just a damn minute!" you say. "You can't just breeze over the word jogging when you are a 291 pound fat man!"
Fair enough.
Yes boys and girls, I did a little jogging tonight. It wasn't much to speak of, probably only about a tenth of a mile twice. However, I would say that it is a good sign of improvement. I was walking about as quickly as I could go, but I wanted to go faster. So, I broke in to a jog, and I didn't even die or anything. I jogged a little later on purpose too.
Additionally, I lifted some weights when I got home.
